According to talkSPORT reporter JacobsBen, Ekitic has now obtained a travel permit and is expected to arrive in England on Tuesday. Ekitic will join Liverpool in the Asian Tour later this week. JacobsBen said Ekitic's transfer fee is £69 million + £10 million surcharge, with a contract period of six years. Previously, Newcastle United had offered £70 million, but failed to reach an agreement on additional terms.
