FIFA official: Materazzi, Karembu and others will serve as guests for the World Cup qualifying play-off draw

FIFA officially announced that World Cup champions Karumbu and Materazzi, and third-place player Dahlin will serve as draw guests for the World Cup cross-continental play-offs and the World Cup European play-offs. The draw ceremony will be held this Thursday.

42 of the 48 seats for this World Cup have been confirmed. 22 national teams will compete for the remaining 6 places, of which 6 teams will participate in the intercontinental play-offs to compete for two places, and 16 teams will participate in the European play-offs to compete for the remaining 4 places.
