Italian Football Association Chairman: The death of Giorgio Armani is a major loss in Italy, thanks to his outstanding contributions

September 5th Italian Football Association and Chairman Gabrielle Gravina expressed condolences for the death of Giorgio Armani.

The true king of fashion passed away today at the age of 91. As one of the most respected designers of all time, he founded his own company of the same name in the 1970s, making a huge contribution to "Made in Italy" going to the world.

Armani has always maintained close ties with the sports industry. He not only designed jerseys for the Italian national team at the 1994 World Cup, but also made Emporio Armani a fashion and luxury equipment supplier to the Italian Football Association in 2019, and still provides clothing for the adult national team, the women's national team and the U21 national team.
