Official: 21-year-old Japanese midfielder Yosuke Furukawa transfers to Darmstadt in Bundesliga

Iwata Joy officially announced that 21-year-old midfielder Yosuke Furukawa, who had previously loaned to Zabrzegornik in Poland, will transfer to Darmstadt forever.

After graduating from Shizuoka Academy, Yosuke Furukawa has played for Iwada Joy since the 2022 season. He joined Zabrzegornik on loan last summer. After a year of battle, Yosuke Furukawa made 24 appearances in the league, contributing 2 goals and 2 assists.

Through the club's official website, Yosuke Furukawa made a farewell speech: "I am sincerely proud that I can take the first step to realize my dream of becoming a professional football player since childhood in a club like Iwada Joyful."

"All the experience and encounters I gained here have become my priceless wealth. And I sincerely thank everyone who has always supported my challenge."

"In order to become a better player, I will be grateful for the challenge, and I will continue to challenge in the future!"

"It is really a pity that I cannot say goodbye to the fans and the relevant members of the club. But I will definitely stand on the court as a member of the Japanese national team and show everyone what I look like when I grow up. I sincerely wish Iwada Joyful to upgrade to the J1 League and make a greater leap."
