Paris nemesis! In the Champions League, Bayern has won all of its last four games against Paris and has kept clean sheets.
In the fourth round of the UEFA Champions League, Bayern will go to the Parc des Princes to challenge Paris Saint-Germain. Before this game, Bayern's official website took stock of some data from the confrontation between the two teams. Bayern's recent record against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League is exciting, with four wins from four games and all clean sheets. No other team has beaten PSG more often in Europe's top club competition, while no other team has kept PSG scoreless for so long. However, in their most recent official match, Bayern lost 0-2 to Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup in the summer. Now, the two teams will meet again in the French capital for a crucial showdown that will determine the top spot in the Champions League stage. Currently, the two top teams from France and Germany have each achieved three consecutive victories in the group stage, ranking first and second respectively. The following are some specific statistics for the confrontation between the two teams: -Paris Saint-Germain has lost four consecutive games against Bayern in the Champions League, which is their longest losing streak against a single opponent in this event. -Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain have won eight of 14 meetings in the Champions League, more than any other team. If Bayern can take away three points from the Parc des Princes again on Tuesday, they will become the only team to win three consecutive away games against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. In fact, Bayern has not conceded a goal in the past two away games against Paris Saint-Germain, winning 1-0 in April 2021 and February 2023 respectively. - PSG have failed to score against Bayern in their last four Champions League games, their longest goal drought against a single opponent in the competition. Despite this, PSG have won all of their last six Champions League games and lifted the trophy for the first time last season. They are also the team with the most goals in the Champions League this season, scoring 13 goals in three games. -Bayern striker Kane is in hot form and has a chance to score in five consecutive Champions League games for the first time in his career. Only two Bayern players have done this before, Robben did it once in 2013 and Lewandowski did it three times. Kane has scored 6 goals in the last four Champions League games. Of course, it is not just Kane who has performed well, Bayern's entire team is in excellent condition and has won all 15 official games so far this season. Bayern will head to Paris full of confidence, intent on continuing their winning streak against the reigning Champions League champions.
