Atletico Madrid officially announced an agreement with Botafogo on Almada's transfer, and reporter César Luis Merlo social media revealed the details of the deal.

César Luis Merlo revealed that Atletico Madrid purchased 50% of the ownership of Almada for a price of 21 million euros + 5 million euros floating.

If Atletico Madrid does not sell players for the next three years (the contract is until June 2030), another 10 million euros must be paid to Botafogo to purchase the remaining 50% ownership.
