Rooney calls Messi better? Ronaldo: No problem at all, I’m not angry, I respect Rooney’s choice

Today Morgan released the second part of the interview with Ronaldo, in which Morgan asked Rooney about Messi being better.

Morgan: Wayne Rooney, your old teammate said last week that he doesn't hate you (despite what some people say), he actually likes you and calls you a genius. He said your relationship is closer than outsiders think, but he still thinks Messi is better.

C Ronaldo: (pouting) No problem, no problem at all.

C Ronaldo: But I am serious, I am not angry. To me this is perfectly acceptable and everyone has the right to freely choose.

Morgan: Do you and Rooney have a friendship now?

C Ronaldo: It’s not really a friendship. We had a good relationship when we were playing football together, but we weren't close friends who would come to my house for dinner and lunch every week or twice a week. We got along well on a football level, but I didn't have any friends who would come to the house for dinner. What I call "friends" requires a deeper bond. For example, Ferdinand is considered a friend and we still keep in touch. The word "friend" has a very, very deep meaning to me. I got along well with everyone in Victory in Riyadh, but real friends are another world away. I have nothing against him, really.

If you have to ask what type of player you like the most...it really doesn't matter. I respect him and especially miss the time we played together.
