reported that Newcastle is exploring the possibility of introducing Sesco in case Isaac leaves the team. Newcastle has always been interested in Cesco, and if Isaac leaves the team, Cesco will become their number one signing target. However, from a financial standpoint, the deal will be extremely challenging.

The Athletic reported earlier Thursday that Isaac hoped to leave the team and he did not go on a preseason trip with the team. Previously, Liverpool had intended to sign the 25-year-old striker, and Newcastle's previous position was that he was a non-selling player.

22-year-old Cesco has previously attracted a long-term attention from Arsenal: the Gunners have been looking for a No. 9 player. But after Arsenal decided to turn to sign Portugal Sports' Yorke, Sesco was no longer an option.

Cesco renewed his contract with Leipzig last year, with the new contract until 2029. A termination clause of about €65 million (£55.3 million) in his previous contract has now expired, and the new contract is reportedly included a "gentleman agreement" between him and the club, that if a suitable project occurs, he can be allowed to leave the team.
