ESPN: Ayton will either be the long-term pillar of the team or will only be a brief farce

ESPN reporter Tim MacMahon talked about Ayton's prospects in the Lakers in today's show.

Tim MacMahon said: "I think DeAndre Ayton will either become a long-term pillar of the Lakers or will only be a short-term passerby. I don't think he is a mediocre person, this guy is really talented. His talent is beyond doubt. If he can do everything that helps the Lakers win, I think he can help Luca."

In this offseason, Ayton signed a two-year contract with the Lakers.
