Tatum: The frustration of the Achilles tendon injury made me think of giving up and even didn t want to play again at one point

Recently, Celtics star Tatum accepted an exclusive interview with NBC. He revealed that he had considered giving up basketball after an Achilles tendon injury.

Tatum said: "After getting injured, I told my mom, 'I may not be able to play basketball anymore'. I seemed to be betrayed. My mom was able to understand my situation at that time. She understood that my feelings were real, but she was always very positive and always encouraged me."

"I am the kind of player who never takes a turn and is eager to play the whole game. I have been strictly maintaining my body, but when this happened, I still felt that this should not have happened to me. For a while, I even said to my mother, 'Mom, I may be done.
