55 million salary dispute! AFP: Mbappe and Paris will appear in court in Paris on November 17

According to AFP, Mbappe’s long-standing dispute with his former club Paris Saint-Germain continues. Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain have been summoned to appear at the Paris Labor Court on November 17.

Since Mbappe left Paris Saint-Germain in the summer window last year, after seven years of cooperation, the issue of salary arrears between the two parties has not been satisfactorily resolved. Mbappe is demanding 55 million euros in unpaid wages and bonuses from Paris, an amount equivalent to his last three months' wages as well as what he considers to be unpaid signing bonuses and moral bonuses.

According to AFP, the dispute between Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain will see new developments on Monday, November 17, when both parties will be summoned to the Paris Labor Court. The hearing is scheduled to be held at 1pm in the "Other Matters" Chamber and will focus on Mbappe's request to reclassify his employment contract.

Mbappe hopes to convert his previous fixed-term contract into a permanent contract. Due to the special nature of the complaint, the case will be heard directly, bypassing the usual mediation stage. However, given the length of the employment tribunal proceedings, an outcome is not expected for several months.
