French media: Real Madrid hopes to add minimum appearance and injury return clauses to Enderrick s loan contract
According to the Spanish "World Sports News" citing French Canal+ reports, Brazilian youngster Endrick is close to going to Lyon on loan. Real Madrid hopes to add an appearance clause to the loan contract. The negotiations between the two clubs have been almost finalized, and Endrick himself seems to have reached an agreement with Lyon. Real Madrid will bear part of Endrick's salary. However, Real Madrid hopes that the player will play at least 25 games in Lyon and participate in the Europa League and French Cup. If these conditions are not met, Lyon will be required to pay a penalty. Real Madrid also hopes to include a clause in the negotiations: if Endrick is injured, he must return to Madrid. Real Madrid want the deadline for this clause to be January 31, 2026, while Lyon prefer January 15 to give them two weeks to find another striker after Ndrick returns to Madrid.
