Spanish media announced Seve’s financial report for the 24-25 season: revenue of 115.18 million euros, loss of 54.06 million euros

According to the Western media palco23, Sevilla Football Club's losses have expanded and its revenue has dropped significantly.

According to financial statements obtained by Palco23, La Liga team Sevilla recorded a loss of 54.06 million euros in the 2024-2025 season, a 33.3% decrease from the previous year's 81.7 million euros.

Although revenue fell by almost 34%, from 174.97 million euros in 2023-2024 to 115.18 million euros in 2024-2025, the losses are still significant. In addition, player transfers brought in revenue of 5.69 million euros, and other income was 4.27 million euros.

The revenue of 115.18 million euros includes: broadcast rights revenue of 64.75 million euros (down 12%); commercial advertising revenue of 28.86 million euros (up 16%); season tickets and ticket sales of 14.36 million euros (down 6%); and match revenue of nearly 7.2 million euros (a plunge of 88%).

In terms of cost control, personnel expenses decreased from nearly 160 million euros to 113.95 million euros, a decrease of 28.9%. Operating expenses also decreased by 28.5% to 25.69 million euros, of which approximately 3.3 million euros were used to purchase players who can register to participate in professional leagues.

These figures resulted in a negative EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of 49.25 million euros, an improvement from the negative 75.6 million euros in the 2023-2024 season.

The club's long-term debt is 233.43 million euros, of which 116.89 million euros comes from participating loans; short-term debt is approximately 35 million euros. Own funds were negative 123.45 million euros, compared with negative 69.39 million euros last year. However, taking into account the participating loans held by the club, the "net capital" is positive 63.369 million euros, so the conditions for dissolution will not be triggered.
