The era of heroes is coming again? The winners of the Golden Globe Awards were different in four consecutive sessions. In the past 35 years, only two of them were won.
The list of 2025 Golden Globes was announced last night, with Rodri, the winner of the 24-year Golden Globes, not selected.
Rodri's defeat in the election means that no one has won the Golden Globe Awards for the past four years. Two years later, Messi was the winner in 23 years and Benzema was the winner in 22 years. Because the latter two were not shortlisted for the 25-year Golden Globe Awards, the Golden Globe Awards will usher in its fourth host in the past four years.
Looking back at the Golden Ball Awards selection from 2008 to 2017, Messi and Ronaldo both won the Golden Ball again and were once called "Double Pants". Now that no one has won the Golden Globe Award for four consecutive years, it seems that the era of heroes has arrived again. Before Mero, the last one to win the Golden Ball was Van Basten in 1989. In other words, only Messi and Ronaldo have won the Golden Globe Awards in the past 35 years.
