Baye: Many young people in the NBA smoked marijuana &, and I also smoked it. Later, the NBA senior executives asked me to educate them.
Former NBA player Matt Barnes recently shared a story about young people who should stay away from drugs on the podcast show Big Boy 's The Hangout. While Barnes was on vacation in Mexico a few weeks ago, he received a call from NBA management. Barnes did not name the official – according to him as a woman – but explained the reason for the call: Young players in the league have reached a certain level of marijuana use, which is a problem that needs to be solved. As a cannabis enthusiast, Barnes has been using marijuana since his first attempt at the age of 14. He is one of the most closely linked names in league history. He said: "She called me and said, 'Matt, I need your help. I need you to talk to these young people about marijuana smoking. They are late, have smells on their bodies, and even when they appear in public.'" "You need to have some self-discipline qualities, keep your professionalism on and off the court, especially if you can use marijuana freely. But don't abuse this freedom." "In my time, a lot of people lost their careers, contracts, and even banned from over-smoking marijuana. I don't think these young people understand how their freedom is now, and it's really impossible to continue like this!" Barnes said. (Note: Cannabis has some positive applications in medicine, and the medical use of cannabis has been legalized in some parts of the United States. However, cannabis is still defined as a drug in most countries. Please look at it rationally, cherish life, and stay away from drugs.)
