Former NBA player Matt Barnes recently shared a story about young people who should stay away from drugs on the podcast show Big Boy 's The Hangout.

While Barnes was on vacation in Mexico a few weeks ago, he received a call from NBA management. Barnes did not name the official – according to him as a woman – but explained the reason for the call: Young players in the league have reached a certain level of marijuana use, which is a problem that needs to be solved. As a cannabis enthusiast, Barnes has been using marijuana since his first attempt at the age of 14. He is one of the most closely linked names in league history. He said: "She called me and said, 'Matt, I need your help. I need you to talk to these young people about marijuana smoking. "You need to have some self-discipline qualities, keep your professionalism on and off the court, especially if you can use marijuana freely. But don't abuse this freedom."

"In my time, a lot of people lost their careers, contracts, and even banned from over-smoking marijuana. I don't think these young people understand how their freedom is now, and it's really impossible to continue like this!" Barnes said.
