Doncic: Players should decide for the country, not the club. The Lakers have never set limits on this
Recently, Doncic was interviewed and talked about the topic of serving the country. Doncic said: "It is not difficult for me to decide to play for the national team. As I have said many times, if I am healthy and have the chance, I will always play in the Slovenian jersey. I am encouraged by the team (the Lakers) and they have never imposed any restrictions on me playing in the national team." However, this is not the case with his teammates Josh Nebo and Chanchar, and Milan Olympia opposes them to participate in the European Championships. Doncic said: "It's interesting that the Lakers did not set limits on me, but their clubs prohibited them from playing for the national team. Personally, I think it should be up to the players themselves, not the clubs. But I won't blame those clubs for this."
