McMillan: James is the first person to attend the team whether he is training and boarding the plane or attending the meeting.

Recently, Lakers Chief Assistant Nate McMillan participated in the podcast program "The Sports Shop with Reese and K-Mac".

Speaking of his feelings about coaching James with the Lakers, McMillan said: "I worked under Coach K for 7 years and I have seen how he works. I have seen LeBron on the Olympics (Note: McMillan was an assistant coach of the U.S. Men's Basketball Team), but it's a different impression. I can see how this guy works with my own eyes. I understand that there is a reason for coach K and LeBron to succeed, because of their efforts.

"Last year, LeBron returned from vacation with his family after the Olympics, and I remember he returned to the team in mid-September. From that day on, he was always the first person to show up, no matter what occasion he was at. His behavior made me sigh, ‘Wow, I’m really leading by example. ’”
